Almond Jaggery Biscuits


  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup jiggery powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, jiggery powder, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  6. Press down on each ball with a fork to flatten it slightly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
